Mercury Direct - Venus Enters Capricorn

We reach a turnaround point this week, following last Saturday's Full Moon. The decks are cleared for a fresh start. However, this is a process, not an instantaneous event. There are likely to be some feelings of loss, even if what has been cleared away was only causing us pain. We'll need to take plenty of time to get our bearings, survey the landscape and begin to make plans to move our creative vision from the drawing board of our imagination to the reality of tangible action. Venus has left behind the free-wheeling frock of Sagittarius and donned the practical suit of Capricorn, bringing a bit of stability but also a distinct concern for how we appear to others. Mercury stations to go direct on Monday, closely conjunct Pluto, providing a broader overall perspective of our current situation and leading to some significant changes in what we think and believe. We may need to process some challenging issues of fair-play and possibly a bit of defensiveness that exposes our sensitivity to the opinions of others. This week's energy levels are high but it will take a while for our minds to catch up so we shouldn't let ourselves be goaded into unwise actions. There are several extended periods where the Moon is VOC, which will offer us a few good opportunities to catch our breath, so long as we can maintain a measure of patience to wait for the picture to clear instead of trying to take control or push others to take action on our behalf. Wednesday offers us a marvelous opportunity to lift our heads above the clouds and actually get a better view of the road ahead of us and a broader, overall perspective. Once we get a better sense of the context within which we are working, we spend the latter part of the week trying to communicate our insights to others — with varying results. We could easily respond to the dizzying transformation with possessiveness and jealousy if we stay focused on past fears and insecurities. Radical acceptance is required as we seek to make sense of the new framework that is developing all around us.
