We reach an intense culmination of the current lunar cycle this week at the Scorpio Full Moon (9:55 AM PDT 22° Scorpio) on Monday. Since the Taurus New Moon (April 27th, 12:30 PM PDT 7° Taurus), determined follow-through has been supported by a great deal of creativity and a 'New Attitude'. But the strong 'fixed sign' energy is still with us and on full display under this week's Full Moon. Some may experience the fixed sign energy as stabilizing while others feel more frustration and a strong desire to break free of restrictions, to break out of old, unworkable patterns. This week's Full Moon intensity seems to scatter our focus with vast pulses of energy. The Moon opposes Uranus just hours after the Full Moon and the Sun completes the conjunction with Uranus at the end of this week. The stakes are raised in unexpected ways and a demand for freedom reaches an extreme, 'life and death' intensity. The sense of 'destiny' and 'mission' seems to override any other imperatives. Nonetheless, the strong, fixed-sign emphasis somehow seems to continue to hold things together in ways that are both frustrating and stabilizing. The common thread is determination. Responsibility is the key to maintaining our focus and moving forward effectively this week. Saturn and Ceres complete a conjunction on the last degree of Pisces just after the Full Moon, offering an extraordinary level of protection, encouraging responsible, decisive action guided by intuition. Our sense of direction is also enhanced by the strong intuitive guidance, especially after the Full Moon. As the Full Moon's intensity begins to wane, we can more easily connect to a purposeful sense of 'mission'. Venus, now in Aries, moves out of the 'shadow' of the last retrograde period (March 1 to April 12) this week. (Mars, now in Leo, actually emerged from it's retrograde 'shadow' back on May 2nd, and has been amplifying our will-power with the intense determination to move forward — break free, break out, break through.). Our perspectives have been fully revamped over the past few months and our focus has fully shifted towards determinedly acting on those new perspectives. Venus is heading towards a trine to Mars that will complete next week, improving our ability to effectively connect with others while maintaining our individual sense of purpose. By the end of next week, Saturn will arrive in Aries, joining Neptune, further intensifying the demand for responsible, decisive action that allows us to break free of old approaches. The challenge in front of us as we move past this week's Scorpio Full Moon is to jettison, old ideas and old expectations in order to 'clear the decks' and 'prepare for launch'. Although we may not see a clear path in front of us, the feeling that 'change has come' seems to be everywhere.

A great deal of impatience is stirred on Sunday, making it difficult to maintain responsibility. We're seeking freedom from restrictions and feeling building imperatives. We may find ourselves feeling scattered by the vast energy that pulses through the intense environment on Monday. A sense of 'destiny' and 'mission' seems to override any other imperatives. Intensity persists on Tuesday but our ability to better articulate our intentions, goals, or ambitions is more focused and precise. Our sense of direction is enhanced by strong intuitive guidance and a strong connection to a purposeful sense of 'mission'. Intensity levels off on Wednesday but we continue to try to put ourselves 'out there' by sharing ideas. There is hope that the easing intensity is helping to produce some real wisdom and insight. Thursday's environment is rather unsteady. Responsibility begins to seem oppressive and we may be inclined to seek ways to escape the weight — producing indecisiveness or evasion. Friday brings a rather unpredictable atmosphere where unorthodox approaches begin to gain a great deal of traction. The underlying intensity may be subsiding but the imperative to break through or break out is increasing. Saturday's environment is activating. There is a sense that there is a 'fresh start' just around the corner.
