All week we are building towards Saturday's extremely precipitous Gemini Full Moon (8:35 PM PST 27° Gemini/Sagittarius). The Full Moon trines Jupiter, stirring us with optimism and encouragement. But a quincunx to the potent Venus-Pluto conjunction, as Venus stations to go retrograde at the beginning of next week, demands adjustments. There is an urge to push ahead — even as we continue to encounter slowdowns and challenging interactions that require us to adjust our approach. There is nervous energy that pushes us to try to share our ideas but we may find ourselves seeking only to control the thinking of others — forgetting to listen to how others are responding to our ideas. If we aren't listening, we will miss the opportunity to develop creative new ways to make progress. Mars arrives in Sagittarius on Monday, which encourages the aggressive expression of our opinions. However, energy is dissipated by the Mars-South Node conjunction on Wednesday. Adjustments are needed but the lack of any kind of clear framework does not give us many clues about what adjustments to make. Hidden hostilities may result from our inability to effectively communicate our opinions to others. If we are able to quiet our minds, there are fascinating opportunities for transcendent revelations that reveal new structures and new frameworks that provide us with ways to engage in meaningful and effective interactions. Mercury arrives in Capricorn, shortly after the entrance of Mars into Sagittarius, which does at least suggest some caution in the way that we express our opinions. However, we may initially seek only to control the thinking of others, rather than openly acknowledge differences and look for compromise. We may tend to focus only on details that support our idealism. However, through careful listening and a quiet openness, intuition can guide us towards a new way forward. Idealism is bound to be dashed by the coming retrograde Venus (December 19th, 2021 - January 29th, 2022). We won't find any solace if we rely on old patterns of relating to others. The passion produced by the involvement of Pluto offers a path towards transforming our relationships but we need to be willing to let go of what isn't working and listen for the clues about what might work if we are willing to change. By the time we reach Saturday's Gemini Full Moon, the need to deliver our individual message reaches a crescendo but, if everyone is talking, who is listening?

Intuitive clues may hint that Sunday's confidence is a bit like 'whistling in the dark'. We should be especially cautious about making too many assertions about what we think we can do. The 'Devil is in the details' on Monday — we won't easily convince anyone of anything if we don't have tangible proof. Our foundations may not be as secure as we believe. Energy is easily dissipated on Tuesday, especially if we are trying achieve some kind of perfection. Collaborative efforts will be much more successful than any sort of 'go it alone' approach. We need to try to stay away from pushing too hard on Wednesday. Slow progress may bring feelings of inadequacy. Thursday afternoon's Gemini Moon raises the stakes and increases our need to share our ideas but controlling what others think is a 'fools errand'. We need to listen carefully to the responses we get from others when we begin to open up. There is great potential in new contacts, interactions, or new relationship dynamics on Friday but we'll need to find some way to quiet our minds and disperse the nervous energy. Saturday's Full Moon seems to drive us to share our thoughts and ideas, make pronouncements, and expand the reach of our message. However, there is some serious potential for obsession. We need to check the foundations before we try to 'build to the stars'.
