The intensity builds this week, ahead of next Sunday's powerful Full Moon (2:07 PM PDT 20° Aries/Libra) where the Moon and Sun square Pluto. However, the pressure is controlled and we work very hard to find ways to build cooperation and enlist alliances. The importance of allowing everyone to weigh in in some way seems to be surprising clear. We are likely to face extraordinary pressure to get to work — achieve something — and show tangible progress under the Sun's square to Saturn at the beginning of the week. The extra responsibility that we feel encourages us to listen to the opinions of others and take input from all corners. Tolerance of alternate points of view seems quite remarkable but is not unlimited. By the end of the week, as we approach the Sun square Pluto, we're essentially done with the open ended input and ready to take action and move forward. Nonetheless, the intensity is still somewhat subdued — or at least tightly controlled. The importance of building some kind of consensus and allowing the airing of different views is paramount this week and, even after the Full Moon, we will need to continue to keep our eye on compromise and collaboration. For many of us, the biggest obstacles we face are the challenges to our deeply held beliefs when we open the door to input. Resentments may be our only refuge if we aren't able to take on these challenges, learning and growing through listening to the insights and perspectives of others.

There may be a fear factor at work on Sunday when the Sun's square to Saturn seems to tighten the screws. Finding a safe environment is important to staying on track. Monday's open and active atmosphere allows us to better understand how to make necessary adjustments. Even when we feel quite independent, it seems easy to allow others to offer ideas and opinions. Venus arrives in Scorpio on Tuesday and it is important to take some time to 'shift gears' and try to avoid going on defense. We'll do better to allow others to simply convince themselves by letting them talk things through. The Moon's productive trines to Venus and Mercury and sextile to Uranus on Wednesday allows for important progress — puzzle pieces snap into place spontaneously. Obstacles and distractions actually provide important lessons on Thursday. It is crucial that we keep a 'fresh' perspective. The Moon is VOC nearly all day Friday. Raw feelings and sensitivity may be unearthed. Energy is rather subdued on Saturday. The patience to listen to alternative points of view may evaporate. It is important to stay focused and keep a firm grip on the 'rudder' ahead of Sunday's Full Moon.
