The Moon squares Neptune just after midnight this morning and follows up with a square to Saturn (3:20 AM PDT). The Moon moves on to stir up a great deal of impatience with a square to Venus at about 1 PM PDT. The action of the waning Moon seems to revel in getting us stirred up without giving us any traction to actually make headway. The Moon does make sextiles to Mars (1:15 PM PDT) and the retrograding Mercury (8:07 PM PDT) which only offers suggestions about how we might proceed — but also highlights confusing caveats. The retrograding Mercury is still pointing out to us what needs to be moved out of the way but the now direct Jupiter is encouraging forward movement. At best, today gives us the necessary information to correct mistakes or salvage what may still be valuable from the past. Nonetheless, we are also likely to be painfully aware of past mistakes. Next week's Pisces New Moon (March 18, 6:23 PM PDT, 28° Pisces), and the subsequent arrival of the Moon and Sun into Aries (the Spring Equinox), will begin to offer us more traction.

Weekly Summary

MARCH 8 - MARCH 14

"Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."
— C.G. Jung

There is an extraordinary emphasis on understanding the bridge between Pisces and Aries (endings and new beginnings) this week — Mars, Mercury, the Sun, and the North Node in Pisces and Neptune, Saturn, Venus, and Chiron in Aries. This week begins with a Scorpio Moon forming a Grand Water trine with Mercury in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer that is followed up by the completion of Mercury's trine to Jupiter as Jupiter begins to station direct. The optimism in this atmosphere is unmistakable and brings echoes of last Fall's extended series of deeply emotional Grand Water Trines. This is offering some extraordinary emotional healing and release through a 'flowing blend' of intellect and intuition. However, despite the optimism that we find at the beginning of the week, we face extraordinary challenges in trying to blend the deeply optimistic, visionary inspiration of Pisces with a determination to act — the essence of Aries. Last Tuesday's Virgo Full Moon Eclipse (3:37 AM PST 12° Virgo/Pisces) has encouraged a grounded, intellectual analysis. The blending of that intellectual analysis with the deep, emotional inspiration of Pisces naturally feeds the Aries impulse to take action. However, we are in the waning phase of the lunar cycle and Mercury is retrograde in Pisces. Mercury keeps our focus on reflection and encourages the clearing of the 'emotional baggage' of the past. We don't find the 'traction' that is necessary to support the action that Aries is trying to take. We aren't able to make any sort of tangible headway towards the intensely stirred inspiration that we feel this week, increasing the potential for impatient recklessness driven by the Aries impulses. We may also find ourselves feeling painfully aware of our past mistakes. Jupiter stations direct in Cancer on Tuesday, which only seems to increase our impatience through increasing idealism and expansive aspirations. Whatever we imagine might be possible — our inspired vision — encourages us to act without waiting for proof that our inspiration is achievable — or even desirable. "Let's get this show on the road — whether it's ready or not!". Next week's Pisces New Moon (March 18, 6:23 PM PDT, 28° Pisces), and the subsequent arrival of the Moon and Sun into Aries (the Spring Equinox), will begin to offer us more traction. Through the blending of Pisces inspiration and Aries initiative, we do have the chance to perform miracles. But this week, we are required to take time, without apology, to calm the reckless impulsiveness and find the patience to proceed through the process of reflection that is encouraged by the retrograding Mercury in Pisces.

The sincere maintenance of our relationships to others — and the world around us — is how we can fully integrate the lessons that are offered in Sunday's optimistic atmosphere. There is extraordinary emotional healing and release through a 'flowing blend' of intellect and intuition. Monday offers opportunities for increasing our integration of emotional and intellectual insights that are quite profound but rely on inspiration and an expanded perspective. We are encouraged to share our insights with others. We may have some idea that there's a chance to 'make our dreams come true' on Tuesday but have a hard time actually believing that it is really possible. Both patience and faith are required in an extremely nebulous environment. There is a great deal of inspiration on Wednesday but we don't have any traction to actually move ahead. However, impatience and frustration makes connection with others challenging. At best, Thursday gives us the necessary information to correct mistakes or salvage what may still be valuable from the past. Nonetheless, we are also likely to be painfully aware of past mistakes. Intuition and inspiration only seem to feed impatience. We struggle with feeling misunderstood in some way on Friday which encourages a certain reckless disregard and a lack of awareness of the significant consequences for pushing too hard too fast. We find an important layer of detachment on Saturday. Nonetheless, we need to set aside impatience and reckless impulsiveness in order to make any headway at all.

Friday March 13, 2026

Intuition and inspiration only seem to feed impatience today. We struggle with feeling misunderstood in some way which encourages a certain reckless disregard and a lack of awareness of the significant consequences for pushing too hard too fast. Although we may struggle to recognize tangible progress, today's Mars-North Node conjunction in Pisces is a powerful driver for spiritual progress — if we're willing to pay attention. What we can imagine might be possible — our inspired vision — encourages us to act without waiting for proof that our inspiration is achievable — or even desirable. "Let's get this show on the road — whether it's ready or not!". Finding some kind of creative outlet that does not demand quick results will serve to keep our minds active and help us avoid pushing too hard.

Saturday March 14, 2026

The Moon makes an early morning trine to Uranus before going briefly VOC until 8:13 AM PDT when it arrives in Aquarius. Today's Aquarius Moon provides an important layer of detachment. Sextiles to Neptune and Saturn, followed by the conjunction to Pluto, at least give us some sense that we have some control of where we're going and what we're doing. Mercury's approaching conjunctions with Mars and the Pisces North Node provide an important level of energy and intellect that can help us to move aside some of the emotional baggage — including the impatience and reckless impulsiveness that has been distracting us all week. We have the chance to perform miracles once we are able to balance between inspiration and a clear, honest, and realistic assessment of what is needed in order to actually make our dreams come true.
