Weekly Astrology Forecast: April 26 - May 2

This week starts out with the strong, determined energy of the Full Moon (8:42 PM PDT 13° Taurus/Scorpio) on Sunday which initiates a process of unveiling and examining many deeply held beliefs, unspoken expectations and hidden price tags on generosity. This looks like a deeply emotional journey through the catacombs of emotional vulnerability, dashed expectations and isolating beliefs. The changes begin on the inside but by Wednesday, we gain some valuable perspective and the ability to separate our intellect and our emotions in order to talk about what we're seeing. In other words, we begin to find enough space to clear away some of the emotional debris that is holding us back. Stubborn determination is found throughout the week but is perhaps most prominent on Thursday as we are forced to confront the cost of stubbornly held beliefs. It is up to each individual to determine whether or not the costs are worth the prize we are seeking. Once Venus moves into Cancer on Friday, we are likely to see some attempts to gain support through some questionable tactics including seduction and manipulation. The general concern over appearances seems to keep us looking for ways to obscure our motivations and protect our most cherished beliefs from rational examination. However, as we release the emotional baggage, it becomes easier to be honest about what we are really seeking to accomplish. By Saturday, we gain enough confidence to set aside the emotional manipulation and spend some time reflecting on our overall objectives. However, the atmosphere at the end of the week is still pretty emotionally volatile - the process of weeding out emotional blind spots can be pretty challenging. Determining what beliefs are worth fighting for and what beliefs are in our way is an ongoing process. The Full Moon's spotlight on this ongoing process may seem rather painful or it may feel quite exhilarating - like a great weight is being lifted. Either way, our most deeply held beliefs are certain to come under increased scrutiny this week in the wake of Sunday's potent Full Moon.
