Weekly Astrology Forecast: February 1 - February 7

This week presents us with a spontaneous and unpredictable atmosphere, full of surprising twists and turns. Plans are unlikely to develop as expected, yet there is a distinct inclination to keep churning forward in the hope that we can use our will power to eke out a positive gain of some kind. Tuesday's Full Moon (3:08 PM PST 14° Aquarius/Leo) may feel as though we are in a winner-take-all contest, particularly if we have become carried away by idealism, unrealistic expectations or overwrought determination. We are challenged to respond to a significant number of spontaneous developments where idealism and ego vulnerabilities are exposed if we can't keep up. Quick thinking and adaptability is called for but it could be very easy to get stuck on how we think things should be. The most productive opportunities are found by adopting a spirit of cooperation and maintaining the willingness to incorporate the ideas of others. By Thursday, some feel an adventurous desire to head out in a new direction. However, the chaotic atmosphere reveals that there is still more to consider before we actually get to make any tangible progress. Mercury is retrograde until next Wednesday (February 11) and despite the strong urge to get this show on the road, there is still work to be done, clearing away the debris of old, unworkable approaches. There is a strong surge of will power on Friday that may result in some clashes. However, by Saturday, we begin to recognize that we need to adopt a more diplomatic approach if we expect to get anywhere.
