A Very Long Week (that started a month ago)

It's been almost a month since I wrote my last post fully intending to really dig in and get started on this blog and the project of exploring my use of astrology in daily life.  Happily, several comments appeared on this new blog but apparently my e-mail notifications are not coming in because I didn't see them until today.  (My apologies to those who've waited to see their posts appear). That e-mail glitch is the kind of little detail that has been giving me fits as I slog through this process. And that brings me to the very long week that started a month ago.

I honestly don't know what happened with the New Moon in Pisces on Monday but SHEESH! Stubborn obstacles rose up out of nowhere.  Another website I've been working on presented all sorts of new challenges that involved a steeper than expected learning curve.  A tenant at one of my rentals called alleging a mold infestation that was causing his pregnant wife severe symptoms.  Domain Registrars for the above mentioned website showed errors pointing to long established name servers with no explanation.  I couldn't get voice mail off of my cell phone. . .  Just stuff!

Sure, the Sun and Moon were conjunct Uranus and Mercury (maybe producing a short-circuit effect?).  Sure Mars was stationing to go direct and perhaps injecting a whole new level of energy (and aggression) in the atmosphere. But it has felt very much like a series of mutable squares which I experience as a process of bouncing from one thing to another, "bouncing off the walls" so to speak. Even though everything is eventually accomplished as I want it to be,  mutable squares feel very chaotic and uncertain throughout the whole process.

Only problem is - there ain't no mutable squares this week. So whaahappened!?

I started working on this website with Pluto trining my Virgo Sun from Capricorn.  I was moving forward and very pleased with the progress. Then in March 2009 the retrograde Venus in Aries over my South Node intervened and I was sidetracked completely by a serious injury that my father sustained.

But I finally returned to work on the site a couple of months ago and it became officially "live" just about the time that Pluto was trining my ascendant.  I very much liked that timing since the emphasis on my ascendant helps to pull things out in the open. But one degree passed the trine to my ascendant, Pluto reached my Moon in Capricorn and has stationed there, at 5 degrees of Capricorn.

Jiminy Cricket!

It is obvious to me that the transit of Pluto over my Moon is very significant, but sorting it out isn't simple. In truth this latest series of detours started not long after I launched the site, closer to the Pisces/Virgo Full Moon (my first and 7th house).  Once the site was up and running, I realized that I needed to do some more hardware and software upgrades in order to have things operating correctly.  So, as the moon waned, there were a series of bumps and false starts that I worked through, as I pursued the very Virgo process of cleaning up the new servers and nailing down the myriad details one needs to deal with when hosting a website "in house."

I've been trying to jump in and embrace the changes Pluto might be offering me. Pluto seemed to be inspiring me to do a house cleaning, install sweeping changes and charge foward into a new life.  So I built new servers and upgraded hardware and software.  Plowing ahead, charging through frustrations and obstacles.  But Pluto moving over my Moon and into my 5th house of investments has also stirred up my rental properties and I've had crazy issues coming up with both sides of a duplex that I have rented. There has been a seemingly endless series of nagging details to sort out at home and "in the world".  As I've heard over and over again: "You can't just change one thing."

A line - "How will this fadge?" from Twelfth Night has been running through my mind for days. As I experience this Pluto transit, it is clear to me that I am undergoing a sort of birth or rebirth process that is fraught with pitfalls and challenges and it has been, already, very frustrating and emotional for me. So, ultimately,  this post is about feeling overwhelmed to the point where I haven't actually felt able to comment on my life as I experience it or even to comment on the myriad of changes going on nationally and globally.

But, hopefully, I'm gonna get my brain wrapped around some the trappings of the new emotional life that Pluto over my Moon is offering. Pluto in my fifth house is also informing how I experience the creative aspects of my life and the process of beginning this website is, obviously a creative endeavor or "a new baby", so to speak, and I don't intend to let it be orphaned!

But like I said before - SHEESH!
