Another County

Another County heard from: A few hours ago the Moon joined Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus in Aries.

Shoot me now.

Okay, it isn’t that bad right here, right now – for me personally – but lord, how many time can you stand to hear “I Gotta Be Me”.

At  least, by May 3 there’s a New Moon at 12 Taurus quincunx Saturn.  That should settle things down.

I’m not really complaining, mind you.  In fact, this Aries Energy is really helping me to find my voice and break out of the Plutonian Dark Places that have been really overwhelming me for the past few months or more.

But really,  a bunch of folks in the South and Midwest have to be feeling the effects of Uranus in Aries as it gears up for the angular connection to Pluto that is still a few months off being exact.  The tornadoes and earthquakes are evident examples of the kind of structural breakdown that the world is being regaled with right now. Maintenance & Upgrade

I just finished changing all of the Numerology and Astrology pages from the ASP language to PHP.  That will hopefully make them a little more stable and eventually easier to use.  There were some ongoing problems with the Astrology ‘gizmo’ that made it quit working every so often.  Hopefully, that’s all fixed now.  I’m eventually going to moving into a Linux/Apache system (LAMP) and this was the first and probably most cumbersome task in the process.  My next project will be to add more countries to the Database for birth locations.

So “have at it” and please let me know if you have any problems!

Structures Falling

I’ve been having a hard time watching the news the last few days. Generally I’m a news junkie, but sometimes it’s too much.  What’s got me now is how there’s supposed to be this big battle brewing over raising the debt ceiling on US Govt. debt.

I think Pluto in Capricorn is pushing us to the realization that the structures that we rely on, like finance and government are very flimsy and full of rot and corruption.  The US was born the last time Pluto was in Capricorn and now we’ve come full circle as a country.  We as a country have become the enemy that we rebelled against in 1776.

At that time, England was the world dominating financial and military giant.  Now we’re the giant about ready to fall. . . Maybe.

Venus in Aries

Venus is joining Mars, Jupiter and Uranus in Aries (oh yeah, and Mercury Retrograde in Aries too!)  tomorrow. That’s lovely, I guess, if you’re an Aries. Very exciting if your Sun sign is Aries, I’d imagine.  My problem is that my South Node is in Aries and all the Aries ACTION just wears me out.  Sure there’s all of this incredible energy everywhere but it just really gets me overheated – I stay up too late, I can become easily excitable or I just can’t take all of the “excitement” energy swirling around me.

Pluto

The transit of Pluto through Capricorn has a lot to do with why I began this blog.  My thinking centered on how Pluto was going to  affect the Pluto in Virgo (My) Generation when transiting through Capricorn.

Although there is some overlap, to my mind the “Boomers” are the Pluto in Leo generation and the “GenXer” post-baby boom generation are those with Pluto in Virgo.

Barack Obama is the first GenXer to ascend to the Presidency and is likely to define GenXers in the same way that the Clinton presidency defined the “Boomers”.

So what are the effects on “Generation X” of Pluto in Capricorn thus far?  As I said in an earlier post, I think Pluto in Capricorn is “kickin’ my ass” but it’s over my Moon right now so that’s not really representative.
